Senior Office, Risk & Compliance
Kuala Lumpur •The Senior Office, Risk & Compliance is responsible for aiding the Manager, Risk & Compliance with MRANTI's company-wide Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and compliance monitoring in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The role is critical in ensuring efficient coordination of ERM and compliance efforts, as well as adequate controls, processes, and procedures that are in place to monitor related enterprise and compliance risks on an ongoing basis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business, Technology or a similar field.
- Recognised risk/ project risk qualifications and certification is an added advantage [e.g., CRA, CRMA, CRMP, QRA, PMI-RMP, CISA etc.]
- Recognised compliance qualifications and certification are an added advantage. [e.g., ICA Certificate in Compliance etc.]
- A Minimum of 6 years experience in relevant enterprise risk management, internal controls and compliance; preferably in technology, facilities & asset management, construction or related industries.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office applications.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia in both spoken and written.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and development of an enterprise-wide Enterprise Risk and Compliance management system to control and reduce the risk of crisis or compliance violations.
- Assist in enterprise risk management that includes business continuity, crisis management and risk planning.
- Assist in the implementation of fraud management procedures to combat internal and external fraudulent activities.
- Perform and facilitate risk assessment activities, communicate and compile the outcome for analysis and reporting.
- Review the effectiveness of the risk response plan and existing internal controls, discuss, propose and communicate recommendations for improvement, as appropriate.
- Conduct relevant training/ workshops for risk coordinators and risk owners and organize networking sessions with other risk management practitioners.
- Conduct assurance exercises and reviews or audits periodically to ensure compliance procedures are followed.
- Prepare compliance report, highlight and discuss compliance issues with the Head of Risk & Compliance.
- Plan and execute an awareness program to educate and train employees on regulatory requirements to avoid regulatory non-compliance and severe penalties.
- Maintain and update Compliance Database - ensure that all required licenses to operate, regulatory and internal
- policies and procedures have been documented, and maintained and compliance status updated.
- Monitor trends and emerging issues that could impact the company's operations, communicate and discuss issues/red flags with the Head, Risk & Compliance and assist in the preparation of relevant information for escalation, as
