Head, Digital & Social Media - Strategic Communication
Kuala Lumpur • Business • PermanentThe Head, Digital & Social Media reports to the Division Head, Strategic Communication This position involves the development and management of the websites and social media assets, including creating and curating shareable content; determining which platform is best suited for each piece of content, planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising, ensuring our social media presence across all digital channels and measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
The Head, Digital & Social Media is responsible for directly engaging with MRANTI online communities – whether through the website, email list or various social media channels. He/she will be an integral part of MRANTI’s efforts to reach a broad online audience with the ultimate goal of becoming a preferred brand name.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communication, Information Technology or other relevant field of study
- At least 6 years of experience in website development, digital marketing, social media and digital, as well as social media campaign management
- Possesses strong knowledge and command in the following skill set : -
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Online ads and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Analytics platform, i.e. Google Analytics
- Copywriting skills for web and social media content
- Experience in the following areas with proven track record of producing quality content for wide range of clients from various sectors : -
- Creating and managing a wide range of digital content, including videos, infographics and imagery
- Using social media channels to distribute and amplify the organisational content
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage digital content marketing strategy that supports organisational goals from the top to the bottom of the marketing and sales funnel including Increasing Brand and Offer Awareness, Growing Website Traffic, Generating Leads, Acquiring Customers and Retaining Customers.
- Oversee the production of digital content that is consistent with the organisation’s brand, style and tone.
- Manage all aspects of digital content production and maintenance for all stakeholders, including blogs, articles, whitepapers, email marketing, imagery and videos.
- Collaborate across functions and silos to deliver an effective digital content marketing strategy to meet the business objective at the lowest cost possible.
- Manage and oversee digital content calendar that attracts and appeals to the organisation’s various stakeholder persona.
- Good copywriting skills for web and social media content.
- Develop, manage and execute digital media campaigns and track performance.
- Develop, manage and execute standard operating procedures for planning, execution, optimisation, distribution and amplification of the organisation’s content.
- Manage all aspects of the digital content marketing process, ensuring all content is promoted to the right audience, delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee all relationships with internal and outsourced content producers (creators, editors, data analysts, graphic designers, videographers, developers) taking full responsibility for the commissioning, editing and delivery of all outsourced content.
- Monitor and report on content marketing metrics and show continuous improvement of the content strategy based on analytics.
- Comply with the internal guidelines as well as processes/ procedures by MaGIC e.g. procurement and project initiation.
- Plan and oversee the digital marketing budget as well as track the utilisation and effectiveness of each ringgit spent.
